History: | 26th April 1863. Was tried at the measured mile, strong winds, attained the extraordinary speed of 17 nautical, or 19¾ statute, miles per hour. One of the fastest ships of her time, used as a scout in the war of 1866. 4th March 1873. Re-built, re-launched, Armament in 1873, 2 x 75mm. 1877. Reboilered. 1888. Local defence ship at Venice. 1891. The armament was 4 x 57mm. April 1895. Descarded. Re-designated 'GM10' and used as depot ship. 1907/8. Broken up. | |
